Southbound Directions: Coming Eventually.
Northbound Directions: Exit the highway at exit 28, Somerville/Sullivan Square. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp, heading east on Cambridge Street. After a short while, you will go under two overpasses. At this point, Cambridge Street becomes Washington Street. Staying in the right lane, continue on Washington until it takes a sharp left into Union Square.
Take a left at the light where Ricky's Flower Garden is. By turning left from the middle lane, you can go into the right lane (and everyone else will merge in with you even though they should turn into the left lane). Take a right at the next light onto Summer St. Stay left and go left at the fork in the road onto Bow Street. Go right at the next fork onto Somerville Ave. Pass Market Basket on the left. When you see the green and white "Extra Storage" sign on the left, take a very careful right onto Granite Street. Granite is two way but only one lane wide when people are parked on both sides of the street. Take a right onto Knapp St. which is a one-way street.
Parking: All of the parking around our house is "on street". Parking on Granite St. and Knapp St. requires a Somerville resident permit except for Sundays and holidays. School St, Somerville Ave, and Summer St. do not require permits. We have two guest permits. Somerville tickets aggressively, so check the street cleaning schedule whereever you park.
